Gabrielle Reilly: bikinis y política
Un personaje poco conocido en España pero ciertamente peculiar el que hoy destacamos, y el enésimo ejemplo que destierra tópicos acerca de la derecha. Gabrielle Reilly es una espectacular modelo y atleta del fitness que ha ocupado la portada de multitud de revistas y calendarios con sus fotografías en trajes de baño. Pero además, Gabrielle hace realidad el viejo dicho de "mens sana in corpore sano". Nacida en Australia y afincada en Kansas, esta mujer del Renacimiento ha recorrido medio mundo, cuenta con una formación envidiable, y partiendo de una mentalidad abierta y libre de prejuicios, Gabrielle ha llegado a la conclusión de defender una visión liberal-conservadora de la política mundial. No en vano, se trata de una de las comentaristas políticas más seguidas y respetadas del mundo anglosajón. Without capitalism, we could very well still be living under a feudal system where peasents worked for nothing and the lords and aristocracy kept all the money. Capitalism for the first time gave the peasents a way to determien their own destiny if they worked hard and used ingenuity.
